| Qiuqiong Huang has been an assistant professor at the department of Applied Economics, University of Minnesota since 2006. She holds a Ph. D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from University of California, Davis and a B.A. in Food Science from People's University of China. Her research focuses on the determinants and effects of different institutional arrangements in surface water and groundwater management, water pricing policy, and estimation of agricultural production technology. Most of her empirical research focuses on China. One of her research efforts has been collecting community level and household level survey data on water resources management in rural China over years. Her publications have appeared in Environment and Development Economics, Agricultural Water Management, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Food Policy and Asia-Pacific Development Journal.
