Dr. Nadia Schadlow is a senior program officer in the International Security and Foreign Policy Program of the Smith Richardson Foundation inWestport, Connecticut. She previously served for six years in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. She is a graduate of Cornell University, and holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University. Her dissertation focused on the Army's experiences in the conduct of military government.
