| Dr. Judith S. Yaphe is a specialist in Middle Eastern political analysis with focus on Iraq, Persian Gulf, Arab, Islamic, and regional issues. Her current projects include radical Islam, regional U.S. military policy and Iraq, Persian Gulf, and Arab politics. Prior to joining INSS in 1995, Dr. Yaphe served with the Directorate of Intelligence, Office of Near Eastern and South Asian Analysis. Dr. Yaphe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Moravian College and earned her doctorate in Middle Eastern History from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. |
